There are only two original Onion family restaurants (aka The Onion Bar & Grill) in the whole world, and they are right here in Spokane, Washington.

It all started in 1978 when our daring young founder, Larry Brown, wanted to try a fun new idea for family and friends.

First, demand that everything is made from scratch, by using only fresh, local, natural products creating fun original recipes.

Second, have a fun bar with highly trained "old school" adult beverage technicians, lots of great local people and The Onion as you know it today was born.

Our "NO PROBLEM" mission of exceeding your expectations is as strong today as it was when it all began 28 years ago!
